The UN to focus attention on human-caused climate change

We're excited to announce that the #OceanPavilion will return to the world's biggest climate conference for a third year!
Convened by the UN to focus attention on human-caused #climatechange, @cop29_azerbaijan will take place from November 11-22. Led by #WHOI and @scripps_ocean with over a dozen global partners, we're literally holding space for ocean issues in the conference's exclusive #BlueZone.
Throughout the two-week conference, the pavilion will feature 60 presentations, keynote addresses, and in-depth discussions spanning #oceansolutions and #innovation, #blueeconomy and finance, and ocean #justiceandequity.
“The ocean affects everyone, everywhere, every minute of every day,” says WHOI President and Director Peter de Menocal. “Only by understanding the ocean can we chart a path to a safe, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.”
