Activity updates are being shared with partners and emergency management. The ongoing eruption is occurring away from infrastructure. USGS is in close contact with Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, which has closed areas susceptible to ongoing, persistent volcanic hazards such as volcanic gas.
